There is no known current Doomfist successor after Akande; he remains the only known Doomfist in the modern era. Akande has no known son, and the title is not passed down through bloodlines. Amadi Ogundimu, often confused with a successor, is actually Akande's father—a wealthy businessman and former Overwatch ally, but he did not fund the original gauntlet; that gauntlet was originally created by the first Doomfist, Akinjide Adeyemi of the Adeyemi family.
